Over the decades, network marketing has exploded in popularity with millions of people signing up. The attrition rate in MLM, or network marketing, is incredibly high because most are not ready to do what is needed to make it work. If you asked a lot of people what they think about it, you’ll get positive or negative answers. A business must have something to sell at a reasonable price, and many offer products that are way over-priced. Even if you are not the best candidate for success, if it appeals to you then you can develop your mindset and behaviors so you can win.

Most people just don’t quite get the extreme importance of marketing your business plan. The lifeblood of this business model is leads, and ideally you want new ones each day. If you have the funds for it, then explore services that provide qualified and quality leads. What you can do is try outsourcing lead generation for a month or two and see what your close rate is and then make a decision. Do your research on this and do not be cheap about it because it’s your money. If you spend money on leads, then you will find it to be an interesting experience although a good one. In most cases, network marketers will tell you to go to your warm market when you first start out. Early on, you should probably not go after your warm market. Not the best idea, or choice to make. Your warm market consists of your friends, co-workers, and family. These individuals are not going to be open to this in most cases. If you push them, they are likely to avoid you for approaching them. What you want to do, instead, is become successful before approaching them with anything. You will see much more credible when you come to them as a success.

You have probably seen people spend lots of cash on how-to ebooks and videos, especially if you are an IMer. The educational material that they purchase usually does not get read or listened to. People fool themselves into believing they are working when they’re just buying or reading. You should learn to do certain things, and budget your money, but more importantly do this – do something today! You have to actually work each day if you want to get anywhere in any business.

It’s all about being truthful, and doing what you need to, to find success. If you are not sure how to market or generate leads, then find out any way you can. Lots of people earn very good money with network marketing, and you have to be patient to make that happen. All that is why information and education is so important before getting involved. Also, invest in your own business by showing those whom you recruit how to make this work – and tell them the hard truth before taking their money.
